Scholarships and Awards

There are several language scholarships available to Richmond students who demonstrate either merit or need. In particular, scholarships are provided to students who might otherwise not be able to participate in a study abroad program during the summer, the semester, or the academic year. Some scholarships are co-sponsored with the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (LLC).

The deadline for submitting an application for study during the 2022-2023 academic year was Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at midnight. Once a student submits the application, a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of the application will be sent by June Wise in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures or Sarah Helen Studebaker in LALIS. Students were notified of departmental decisions in March.
